Dr. Dutkowski's serious interest in orthodontics began during his general practice residency where he started doing his first cases. This inspired him to take a two year Orthodontic course series in the United States Dental Institute.
He uses traditional braces, removable appliances and/or invisible aligners depending on the nature of the case and the preference of the patient.
The latest addition to his options is to use Temporary Implants (TADs) to provide a "push or pull" on the teeth to be moved without having to push or pull on other teeth as much or at all. This permits cases which were difficult to do in the past to be done
much more easily and predictably.
