Dr. Dutkowski's Background

I grew up in Middletown, NJ, attended Rutgers College and then the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where I graduated in 1983.

I moved to the Philadelphia area for advanced training in the General Practice Dental Residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center.

After working for other dentists, I bought and renovated my present home-office near Villanova University in Rosemont, Pennsylvania in 1988.

I have combined private clinical practice with part-time teaching at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. This is one of the ways I stay current on the latest developments in dentistry.

In 2000 I joined the board of the Pennsyvania Academy of General Dentistry and in 2001 will receive my Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD).

Other ways include:

  • Regularly taking Dental Continuing Education Courses.
  • Participating in the International Dental Forum and other newsgroups on the Internet
  • Attending dental conferences
  • Continuous reading of the current dental literature

I am married to Dr. Catherine Clarke. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics and practices general adult medicine in her office in the Lankenau Medical Building in the Jefferson Health System. Her office telephone is: 610-649-3456.

When I am not working, I can often be found browsing the internet, fishing, renovating, photographing, working with wood and stained glass, and playing with or caring for our son.
